We’re thrilled to share that our Volunteer Training Program has just wrapped up, and we couldn’t be more proud of the incredible group of individuals who completed it. These new volunteers come from all walks of life, but they share one beautiful common thread: a desire to be present, to listen, and to offer comfort during life’s most tender moments.

Elliot Lake Palliative Care had the opportunity to take part in two wonderful events: the Seniors Expo and the Community Showcase. Both events were a beautiful reminder of the compassion that lives within this town and the importance of showing up for one another.

At the Elliot Lake Palliative Care Program, we walk alongside families during these tender times. And one truth we hold firm: caregivers need care too.
